Dawn Patrol out this season.

Unfortunately, Dawn Patrol will not be participating in the league this year. This is due to cost (half of us are currently unemployed, including myself), and a restructuring of our team goals.

I on the other hand will volunteer to ref, if I can get my gas paid(20$), and I'm possibly interested in getting picked up by another team who needs players for the league. Anything else I can do for you guys, just ask!

Sad to see anyone go.  We discussed pricing at a meeting last evening and hopefully we have made it easier for everyone in these economic times.  We could always use refs as well, so any help as a player / ref is appreciated. I don't handle any money, but would gladly accept help on the field refffing!

To be honest with you G, price wasnt a problem for most of us. We look for value as compared to the flat cost of the games we play. Unfortunately, we decided that the lack of participation and effort we had to put in to play wasnt feasible for us this year.
I myself will be keeping the AMP in mind though. I might try and put together my own team to play with, not necessarily Dawn Patrol, later in the season.

I hear you bro.  It's definitely tough starting a new league, esp during this recession were everyone is pinching pennies.  We have people that have the heart and are willing, just going to take some time.  Hope to see you there.
